Progress on EUV & X-ray spectroscopy and imaging II

November 17th – 19th, 2015, Wrocław, Poland

Motivation

Progress on EUV & X-ray spectroscopy and imaging II is the third conference in a series organised to review developments in spectroscopy and dynamics of solar atmosphere.

The main aim of the meeting is a summary of the new results obtained from analysis of data harvested by past and contemporary space missions with special emphasis on the outcome from experiments developed at Solar Physics Division of Space Research Centre of Polish Academy of Sciences. One of the objectives is to present recent developments in analysis of, still much unexplored, early solar X-ray measurements. Also an overview of further missions, intended to be launched in the upcoming decade, will be shown. A special session will be dedicated to polarimetry – the observing method which very recently gained significant support and attention what will allow for substantial progress in understanding of processes occurring in space plasmas.

The workshop will take place at the lecture room of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Wroclaw Division, Podwale 75 street, located in the centre of the city.

The official language for this conference will be English.

Registration will be possible between 08:45 - 16:00 during the 1st and the 2st day of the conference.
