General information

STIX meeting series are dedicated to have an in-person intensive discussion on the scientific research from the observations acquired from STIX and other contemporary instruments, as well as understanding the present state of the observations and instrument. This, second in series, STIX meeting will take place in Wrocław, Poland during 7 – 9 November 2023.

Additionally, a 1-day workshop on Data Analysis Training workshop will be organized on 6th November 2023.

While it is planned to have a Zoom link to allow the remote participants to follow the meeting remotely, the interested presenters are strongly encouraged to attend in-person

Wrocław is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Poland, located in southwestern Poland, upon the Odra river. It is the economic, cultural and intellectual capital of Lower Silesia. It is famous for the many tributaries of the Odra, its canals, bridges and its cathedral. The location of Wrocław guarantees convenient air, road and train connections.

Weather notice: November is quite unpredictable regarding the weather, hence known as “The Golden Polish Autumn”. This means that temperatures may range from 20°C (accompanied by beautiful sunny skies) to below 10°C (sometimes even close to 0°C with high humidity (fog) including rain). Nevertheless, a vibrant weather for this vibrant meeting is guaranteed.
