Emission measure distribution from the analysis of coronal data

abstract: I report on the temperature distribution of the plasma emission measure (DEM) obtained from the analysis of coronal data. I discuss the DEM of X-ray flares as derived from the analysis of Yohkoh/SXT data and the DEM of quiescent coronal loops obtained from the analysis of SoHO/CDS data.
