Mewe's lines in CHIANTI format (by Enrico Landi)

I finally got the time to look for the CHIANTI-style files containing the data to calculate the line emission from H-like and He-like lines with n=6 to 10.

Just download the file, untar it and a lot of files will appear. You will have to put them manually in your CHIANTI directories, each in his own directory. However, if you use CHIANTI through solarsoft, check with your system manager about whether these files will be canceled when solarsoft is mirrored.

These files can be used with any CHIANTI software.

However, please note that the Mewe data are NOT part of CHIANTI (they were voted out at the last meeting), so in any paper you publish using these data they must be referenced separately as data coming from Mewe et al 1985 etc. This is important, otherwise a lot of confusion might arise.
