The pile-up in SphinX detectors: how we can calibrate it beforehand and follow in-flight

The principles of SphinX measurements, electronics and operation modes are described. Results of Monte Carlo simulations of SphinX measurements are presented, discussed and compared for various solar activity levels. In particular an analysis of bias due to pile-up effects and lost-events is performed.
