The observed X-ray spectra of the impulsive phase of the solar flare very often can not be explained by using the assumption of the electron Maxwell's distribution. The unusual spectral line ratios indicate the presence of a non-thermal electron distribution. The satellite line and the allowed lines belonging to ions in different degree of ionization seem to be suitable for diagnostics. The diagnostics has been applied on the RESIK X-ray spectra of the solar flare.
