We envisage the possibility of establishing the absolute abundance of Fe, Ca, Ar, S, Si and Mg based on the data to be obtained with SphinX. In the abundance determination we will use the method of fitting the theoretical spectra coming from model calculations to the observed ones. In the spectra calculation routines we will allow for the dependence of line and continuum emission on varying chemical composition of source plasma. The analysis will be made for individual energy intervals containing groups of prominent lines of specific elements. It will be shown that the abundances of Fe, Ca and Ar can be determine only when the Sun becomes more active.
