Abstract:

We have selected eight compact X-ray sources observed by Soft X-ray Telescope (SXT) during the Yohkoh mission. Respective sequences of images have been deconvolved in order to remove the instrumental blur. In this way the spatial resolution on the images has been increased to ~ 1 arcsec. The analysis of deconvolved images allowed us to study the dynamics and morphology of these compact plasma kernels and infer their thermodynamic characteristics. Corresponding Hard X-ray Telescope (HXT) observations were incorporated into the analysis where possible. In addition the standard X-ray emission in the two channels observed by GOES satellite has been incorporated into the analysis.
